The Lyre Bird Table

The Lyre Bird table was made from two book matched Australian Red Cedar (Toona Ciliata) boards, for an exhibition at the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre. The rain forest is know for having Lyre birds living in it, and visitors often hear them mimicking the calls of other animals. The Dining table has ends that ark upwards then come in at the top much like the Lyre birds tail.
