This commission for a bespoke feature bookcase was a slow, but fun job. Made from Blackbutt veneered plywood, with some glass doors, LED lighting strips, and a rolling ladder, it transformed a room full of books into a library den. Somewhere for a busy family to take some time out, even if your the family dog! Commission furniture making has it’s challenges, especially large ones like this. They take up space in a busy workshop and go on for months, but the end results always bring me, and my clients great pleasure.
