Blackwood and Glass river flow table

A Blackwood coffee table with a glass infill. This was made for a competition in Bellingen coinciding with the jazz festival. The Glass represented the river flowing through town and the curved understructure the ups and down’s of jazz music contained between the solid structures of the ends of the table. The exposed dovetails showing the solid traditions of jazz music….. and furniture making.
