Blackbutt river table with glass river

This Blackbutt table was made for an exhibition at the Dorrigo rainforest Centre. It sold and went to live on the south coast of NSW. I have since heard it has moved to Asia. Once you make a piece, you often don’t hear of them for a long time, but then all of a sudden out of the blue they remind you of their existence. This table was made from a log I salvaged from a mates place when they cleared for fire safety. The book matched slabs sit on a organic base. Finished in oil.
