Temmina is a ceramic artist whose creative journey began in The Netherlands in the 1980’s where a passion for Europe’s rich ceramic traditions sparked a lifelong passion for clay.

After returning to New Zealand she joined the Waikato Society of Potters in Hamilton, actively participating in classes and workshops with local and international ceramicists.

In 2015 Temmina completed an advanced diploma of art and design at Toi Ohoami institute of technology Rotorua. She went on to produce distinctive sculpture and garden art supplying galleries nationwide and exhibiting widely.

Her paper clay works have been selected for numerous prestigious national and annual exhibitions alongside solo shows in New Zealand and more recently Australia.

Now based in the Mid North Coast of NSW Temmina runs pottery classes from her home studio, creating paper clay works and expanding alternative firing techniques including pit and raku.
