Having grown up on the eastern shores of Lake Macquarie I attended Newcastle University and completed a B.A. in Visual Arts and a post graduate teaching diploma.
I began teaching Visual Arts at various locations around the state including my final 20 years here in Coffs.
I have always maintained an artistic practice, mainly in easel paintings and
photography, but also including drawing, printmaking and sculpture.

Having recently retired from teaching I am now concentrating on my painting practice which has evolved over the decades to the colourful expressionistic images I am currently working on.

I am influenced by modern masters such as Wassily Kandinsky, Max Beckman and Jason Pollock
